commissions

Whether it’s the birthday of a loved one or a well-deserved treat for yourself (no excuse needed!) a commissioned piece of custom jewellery is the perfect option. The process is simple – you may already have a design in mind or want to create something from scratch – either way, Kerrie will work with you to develop exactly what you’re after. If you’d like inspiration or want to check out the range of previously commissioned jewellery, take a look at the gallery.

HOW IT ALL WORKS

Once you have sent an initial request you will work together to find the perfect design, combining your ideas with Kerrie’s style of making. You can discuss choosing metals, gemstones, dimensions, finish etc. all before any payment. The more information you can include in your initial request, the faster your order can begin the making process. There is flexibility to work with timescales and budgets, simply make a request during your correspondence and advice will be given accordingly. Once happy with the design, Kerrie will send you a quote. Upon payment, making of your piece can begin.*

PAYMENT

*There is a minimum price of £80 for commissions; this is the minimum amount possible to cover the time spent giving life to your designs as well as a simple making process and materials. For higher priced items you can request the option of a 50% deposit to be paid before instead of the full sum, and the remaining balance to be paid before dispatch. Payments can be accepted through PayPal or via BACS.

PAYING USING A GIFT VOUCHER

If you have received a Gift Voucher and would like to redeem it in the form of a commission, please send an initial request as usual, but also highlight that you will be paying using your voucher. Kerrie will then be able to advise you on options for the approximate value of your voucher. If your final design exceeds the value of the Voucher you may pay the rest by card.

WHAT CAN YOU ORDER?

You can request whatever piece of jewellery you like. If you have an idea that is metalwork but perhaps not necessarily jewellery, fill out a request anyway and Kerrie see what she can do to meet your needs. To see previous orders and what customers have said about them, have a read through the Reviews page. Alternatively, you can head over to the Gallery to see a more comprehensive portfolio of past work. If you’re happy with the process outlined above, please fill out the form below and you will receive a reply as soon as possible.

I look forward to working with you.

Please ensure this is correct as this will be my main contact with you.
Please include in this section a detailed description of how you imagine your design to look like. The more descriptive you are able to be initially, the faster I will be able to get to making your idea! If you only have a vague idea and you would like me to design the rest, please include as much as you can and be aware a more involved process will cost more!
This will allow me to design much more efficiently with a visual brief. You can link me to an online image, dropbox, google drive or pinterest board.
